Budget Host Three Crowns Motor Lodge

This place is absolutely perfect. Very clean, and the management does not allow the inside decor to become dilapidated. Everything was in good condition with no chipped paint, no mirrors falling apart, they even had plastic wrapped around the boxspring to prevent bedbugs. Not that I saw any bedbugs at all!it was walking distance from everything in downtown Gettysburg. I will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the town.

Location was great. My husband and I walked to everything except the battlefield. I have never slept well in hotels, but the beds here provided me some of the best sleep I've gotten in a long time! 5 stars for comfy beds. If you don't mind basic inexpensive yet clean lodging with no frills, this is the perfect place to stay.

Decent enough and affordable for a few nights stay. The rooms are very outdated but decent and clean enough for a budget friendly motel. This is a pet friendly motel, which is why we chose it. I didn't notice any foul smells in the room and there is a grassy area for pets to do their business. Our room had an old box tv and a mini refrigerator. The free breakfast was a Hostess Danish and pretty terrible coffee. All in all, we don't really have anything to complain about. It served its purpose for us and we would stay again.

If you're from Beverly hills, skip it, it won't be for you. If you were going to camp out in a tent at a local camping spot, this is a major upgrade. Probably one of the oldest hotels in Gettysburg, not one that Robert E Lee stayed at, but not far from it. You cannot get any closer to everything at this location. Battlefield, shops, dining, mini golf, and fun. Forget the negative reviews of knit picking every detail. If you want to pay $150-250 night sure, you'll find amazing rooms for that price. But if you want to save a few bucks, be in the middle of it all, and have a decent place to sleep, use the bathroom, and shower, look no further. If you're going to stay in your room all day and night and not enjoy the most amazing historical town in Pennsylvania, then probably not the best choice but again, if you need a place to crash until the next day's fun starts, you've found a zirconia in the rough. Good choice for our needs and I'd do it again.

Exactly what is says it is- a budget Motor Inn/ BUT with a perfect location in Gettysburg, Pa if you’re doing the historic tours. Located directly behind Dobbin House so you can park and walk the Main Street your entire stay.

Affordable and very walkable location for popular shops in downtown Gettysburg. Simple no-frills accommodations so you aren't paying for services you won't use, like pools, gyms, etc. Rooms are currently being renovated with new flooring and furniture including smart TVs. Staff is friendly and was helpful. Maybe not the ideal location for families with several kids but for adults and travelers looking to have a good time out on the town or touring the battlefield instead of hanging out at the hotel all day its a good choice. I will definitely be back.

We stayed there last week of August. Rooms were clean. The air worked amazingly. Jimmy the manager was fantastic. He was friendly, and treated is like we had known eachother for yrs. Every morning he made sure we had coffee and anything else we needed. It was quiet and convenient to down town Gettysburg. I would stay there alone because of how we were treated.

This place is rough around the edges, (dirty floors, mildew smell in bathroom) but totally worth the price if you're not picky. You can't beat the location! Rooms are spacious and come with a refrigerator. There is a very big, clean pool. (recommend bringing your own beach towels) The caretaker was so nice and went out of his way to make sure we had everything. The place was quiet and we had absolutely no problems.
